On growing cucumbers

Always hard to grow cucumbers. Essential to get an all- female variety if you don’t want bitter fruits. None of us can really cope with removing the male flowers from standard varieties which is the only way to remove that problem if that is the sort of cucumber you wish to grow.

Make sure you don’t overwater them, and keep conditions as benign as possible with no wild fluctuations in temperature. Greenhouse only for these ones I am afraid
